Over these four days with my 68 sisters, I have grown so much as a person, friend, and daughter. I have learned lessons about myself through the heartfelt stories of others and the telling of my own and reflection time given throughout our retreat. I can not say much because I don't want to ruin the experience for the girls in grades below me, but what I will say is, keep your friends close, be kind to all because you never know what they are going through, and most of all do not deny yourself the time for self reflection and mental growth. Remember that you are loved and the littlest of gestures can truly change someone's day or even outlook on life. Peace of mind comes with listening to your heart and everlasting peace comes with following your heart. Everyone has their own dreams, go after and achieve yours but do not crush others in the process. Someone out there has given you the space to flourish allow others the same. Thank you Kairos XVI, you will never be forgotten. LTF!
