Food is often seen as a basic necessity, something that we don't realize thousands of people go without. During this time of Covid-19 and school closings, many people are not getting their free and reduced meals which may be their only meals all day. Others are losing their source of income and can not afford food, and others were already suffering before the present events.
Over the past couple of weeks my friend and I have volunteered at our Church, Kingdom Fellowship to box food and hand them out to those in need in our community. Food is something no one should have to go without, especially at a time like this. I was very happy to be able to do my part to make sure my community is fed and ready for whatever the day may bring. I hope that everyone is staying safe and if able to, doing their part in their own communities!
