At my school I have started a Hygiene for Humanity Drive that collects donations of essentials, such as soaps, lotions, deodorants, and etc. We than donate these items to homeless shelters in Maryland. I can't do it all on my own, therefore with the help of my friends and peers at school we create posters, and announcements. The Hygiene for Humanity Drive is a project I hope to do annually, not just this year. It is continuously helpful for those in shelters, and saves money that can be used for activities and housing more people. I hope to inspire someone to start their own type of Hygiene for Humanities at their own schools.
